Adam Zientarski - CEO of Detroit Ledger Technologies - the Venture Studio that spawned FACINGS

BIO: Adam is the COO of Detroit Ledger Technologies, where he is responsible for running the day-to-day operations, financial projections, developing partnerships in the Detroit and cryptocurrency communities, and representing Detroit Ledger Technologies in blockchain network discussions as its governance expert.

Prior to co-founding Detroit Ledger Technologies, Adam was the Director of Business Development at Benzinga, a Detroit-based financial tech and media firm. During his time there, he worked in many facets of the business including leading the business development team, organizing events (most notably the Benzinga fintech awards), web development, and Salesforce architecture/administration.

Professor Pescetelli teaches cyberpsychology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and is the co-founder of the Psi app - which is a voice-based insights application to generate qualitative data and actional insights from thousands of users joining a single meeting.

Professor Pescetelli's research focuses on understanding how algorithms, such as recommendation systems, affect performance in teams and human groups.

Professor Pescetelli received his Ph.D. from Oxford and did his post-doc work at the MIT Media Lab.

By day, Ariella Coler-Reilly is an MD Ph.D. candidate studying medicine and the genetics of aging at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis.

By night, Ariella is the founder of Web3 Women in Science, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Decentralized Science #DeSci space.

By moonlight, Ariella is a science writer and illustrator, promoting public health and science education through infographics.

Scott Meyer is the founder of Ed3.gg, where he writes, podcasts, and interviews builders at the intersection of education & web3.

As the VP of Learning for Proof of Learn, he is building a learn-to-earn platform called Metacrafters. Metacrafters is training the next 1 million web3 developers. He is an active genesis member of the Ed3DAO where he developed a certification curriculum for educators to teach web3 and established the Ed3 Podcast Incubator and Ed3 Media Network.

Meyer frequently speaks, teaches, and consults about web3 education for companies like Buildspace and Braintrust, universities like Stanford and UT Austin, and schools like the 5th-grade class at Shishya Jigyasa Academy in India

Ramona Kyabaggu is an epidemiologist, certified Health Information Management (CHIM) professional, and assistant professor at Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (University of Regina), where she coordinates the Master of Health Administration major in Health Informatics and Information Management (MHA-HIIM).

Ramona's primary goal in the De-STEM space is to research the feasibility and applicability of virtual care models on the blockchain.

In her spare time, she is an avid NFT collector and crypto enthusiast, and she is always open to networking and collaboration in Web3.

Muhsinah L. Holmes Morris, Ph.D is the former Interim Department  Chair/Assistant Professor of Chemistry and is now in the Department of  Education and Assistant Professor of Education for the Center of  Morehouse Center for Excellence in Education (MCEE) at Morehouse College  in Atlanta, GA. 

Dr. Morris is Morehouse College’s 2021 Winner of the  Vulcan Teaching Award of Excellence. She is an alumna of Clark Atlanta  University (B.S.) and Emory University (M.S. & PhD). Her research  interests focus on inclusion in STEM for the neurodiverse.

She is the  Principal Investigator (PI) of the VR Project, “Morehouse in the  Metaverse”. She launched her Advanced Inorganic Chemistry course in  Virtual Reality in the Spring of 2021.  She is a pioneer in this space  as the chemistry content in VR is limited. She is the wife of a  gamer/techie named Chris and mom of 5 sons, Anthony, Matthew,  Christopher, Seth and Cameron. 

She believes VR provides a pathway for  creating inclusion in society for the neurodivergent through immersive  educational experiences that more specifically target vocational  rehabilitation goals.  As a member of the Autism Speaks Community  Advisory Council, Advocacy Ambassadors, and Grant Review Committee, Dr.  Morris sheds light on the issues that affect the 1 in 44 children and 1  in 45 adults on the autism spectrum.  Her teaching philosophy centers  around building a rapport with students before asking them to perform,  and she infuses metacognitive goals as part of her learning objectives  in the classroom to help students persist through their educational  experiences. 

She is affectionately known as Dr. M.O.M. (Molder of  Minds) by all her students.  She continues to mold the minds of  educators and students globally in the Metaverse.  Her future is  authentic transformation of the educational system for our future  leaders using immersive technologies in the Metaverse. Kelly Werder, JD/MBA, is an instructor for the Daveler Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship at Florida Gulf Coast University. She worked in Trademark & Copyright research before moving into academia. Recognizing the opportunities developing in the Web3 space,

Professor Werder developed a special topics course on Blockchain Applications and incorporated an NFT project base on & supported by NounsDAO called FloriNouns. 

Deeply driven by a desire to fight poverty and empower workers, David Baxter created the Blockchain Learning Center to help show people how they can use these new technologies for good in their personal lives.

David wants to change the world by changing the business community to one that levels how workers are treated and valued. David's passion and drive for this mission come from his own experiences with poverty and lack of access to education as a self-taught programmer.

He has 10+ years of experience in tech and left his job as a Senior Front End Developer at Carvana to work towards something he felt would make more of an impact like the Blockchain Learning Center (BLC)! 

Diego Mey is, a founder, marketer, and creator, with a passion for Web3 and open-source education. Diego's background in mass communication and advertising, as a partner at Bussola Marketing, where for over a decade he spent exploring the digital and interactive landscape, has given him a unique perspective on creating meaningful connections with people through art and technology.

Diego founded CityPacks, an NFT platform for funding and building educational resources to empower public school students and develop the foundation to thrive in the blockchain world of tomorrow.

Brooke (she/her) started her career as a long-term substitute teacher while her district had a hiring freeze and couldn’t contract her into her assignment as a high school English Teacher.  

Over the past eight years, Brooke has focused her consulting work on K12 data infrastructure and ecosystems.   BenchK12’s vision is to be the talent empowerment platform designed specifically for K12.

Brooke earned her MS in Urban Policy and Management from The New School University (New York), MA in Education from Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles), and her dual BA in Media Studies and Politics/International Relations from Scripps College.

Dave's Ph.D. research examines youth socialization in language endangerment and cultural revitalization, especially those among changing socioeconomic conditions in Vietnam.

His work in Web3 elaborates on these themes to find new media and technological solutions for local communities working to document, preserve, and revitalize local heritage traditions.

Dave is the co-founder of The Alexandria Project on Cardano.

Juliana is a partner and lead attorney for securities, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and data privacy at Drew Eckl & Farnham LLP.

She is a lecturer at the University of Maryland R. H. Smith School of Business and School of Communications, Georgetown University, and Emory University.

She is a mentor and adviser to leadership of the University of Maryland Blockchain Accelerator, Startup Shell student-run venture incubator, and Bitcamp and Technica hackathons.

Juliana has clients that have commercialized the usage of tokenized DAO governance, NFT gaming tokens, smart contracting, and f-NFTs of copyrighted works, and which have offshore and onshore corporate structures.

She is admitted to legal practice in Maryland and Georgia.

Eva Regueira is the Executive Director in the Office of Grants Administration for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS); part of the small team that administers approximately $500,000,000 annually in federal, state and private foundation grants for M-DCPS.

Her experience in Florida’s largest school district for over 15 years has led her from teacher and curriculum innovator to Executive Director roles in both legislative affairs and major grant development.

Ms. Regueira has experience in curriculum development, effective instructional delivery, professional coaching, and system-wide programmatic calibration. She has continuously excelled at nurturing crucial internal and external working relationships for the district in strategic grants development, fundraising, and local, state, and federal intergovernmental affairs.

Georgie Denis is the CEO and a Co-Founder of The PSi app, an audio platform for collective participation.

Georgie has years of experience in management and leadership, which started with the NHS Leadership Academy in 2014. In 2018 Georgie was awarded a Global Health Leadership Fellowship by the Global Health Corps.

In 2022, Georgie will join the international Halcyon Incubator Fellowship to continue her development as an entrepreneur. Georgie’s business experience includes leading growth at the Health Foundation.

In 2019, Georgie began to work in tech, leading the product development and successful FDA clearance of Clue Birth Control (contraceptive software as a medical device). She delivered for BioWink GmbH a differentiated product on the femtech market and FDA clearance of Clue Birth Control in only 18 months. Georgie uses her unique experience in participatory design and decision-making to large-scale online participation in web3.

Rodrigo is a full-time professor at San Diego Miramar College, where he teaches courses in rhetoric, literacy, and cultural analysis.

Rodrigo has a passion for pedagogy and is interested in shaping some of the ways web3 technologies are applied to public education. Rodrigo is also a partner with Muse - a place to build immersive webspaces to gamify curriculum, make education relevant and engaging, and emphasize real, entrepreneurial opportunities for students.

Dr. Karen Alexander is an Immersive Learning Consultant whose experience spans partnering with community organizations to empower youth to create with XR tools, guiding higher ed institutions through the process of XR adoption, advising ed tech and XR startups.

Her work with MetaVRse includes pioneering the translation of 2D educational materials into 3D experiences for enterprise and developing processes for SOC 2 compliance.

With a professional background in higher education, she entered the XR space in 2016 and has built an extensive network in the industry.

Dr. Alexander is a co-founder of XR Women, a global network of professionals that meets weekly in virtual worlds and where a distinguished list of XR industry speakers has appeared, and a member of the WebXR Events Production Team.
